			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>So&#8230;decided to try out one of Jeanette Jenkins&#8217;#SexyAbChallenge&#8230;WOO! Let me back up and fill you in on what&#8217;s going on&#8230;okay, so Jeanette Jenkins, the Hollywood trainer, sent out a tweet yesterday that sparked my interest. As part of her #SexyAbsChallenge, Jeanette asked all of her followers to do 200 crunches and 100 pushups while watching TV. Sounds simple enough, right? Well, I had just finished up Jillian&#8217;s workout when I read this tweet, so there was NO WAY IN HELL that I was going to do it last night, lol! But, having been sick all day today and having missed my workout this morning, I thought well why the heck not. Plus, my hubby was adamant about not missing TI&amp;Tiny (come to find out the finale is next week&#8230;smh) so, this was the only way to get in a workout before bedtime.</p>
<p>So, as Mob Wives ran in repeat, I rolled out my mat and started my 100 pushups and 200 crunches&#8230;OH MY GOD&#8230;this was certainly no cakewalk! I was panting and sweating as is if I were in the middle of Zumba! I&#8217;m glad that Mob Wives was a repeat because I wouldn&#8217;t have seen the entire first 30 minutes of the show. I figure I&#8221;ll add this little activity three times per week and be tight in no time! I will have lean arms and a tight tummy this Summer, lol!</p>

So, I had to regroup and find another Workout Titan&#8230;enter Jillian Michaels! Jillian and I are far from strangers. She and Jackie Warner helped me drop 30 pounds and fit nicely into my bridesmaids dress for a friend&#8217;s wedding more than a year ago. I&#8217;m midway through Level 1 and I can already tell the difference. As in, fit into my first goal jeans of the year&#8230;WOOOOO!!! This 30 day workout is like a bootcamp to basically force my body back into working out. Each workout is only 20 balls to the wall minutes or nonstop fat burning so that old excuse of &#8220;I don&#8217;t have time&#8221; is out the window&#8230;dammit, LOL! I&#8217;m ready and expecting great things!</p>

<p>Time to try something new! Edamame. A fancy name for soybeans picked at the height of ripening, then boiled, lightly salted and served up in the cutest light bowls in you favorite local Asian Cuisine restaurant. If you&#8217;re like me, the first time you see Edamame up close you think &#8220;these are just big ole snap peas&#8221; &#8230;and I&#8217;m still not a 100% that they&#8217;re not, LOL!  Edamame, is available in the freezer section of your local grocer BUT I suggest you have it at a good Chinese or Japanese restaurant first before you start just boiling up your soybeans and drowning them in salt. They are quite tasty too&#8230;surely not what I was expecting from a little green bean. Protein packed and delicious too!  Anyway, if you&#8217;ve never tried them then I advise you to do so and here&#8217;s why:</p>

Anyway, &#8220;Motivation&#8221; came in the mail today! The Jeanette Jenkins Sexy Abs featuring R&amp;B Singer Kelly Rowland DVD I ordered online came in the mail and I just love the promise of sexy abs that this workout dvd promises. I don&#8217;t believe it, but I love it, lol! What kind of sexy abs? Think back to Kelly&#8217;s Motivation video&#8230;better yet <a href="http://youtu.be/s1XozsBN5Z4" target="_blank">click here </a>to refresh your memory. Of course, there is no amount of exercise &#8230;at least none that plan to commit to&#8230;that will get my body back to my once Kelly Ro status and I really don&#8217;t want to go back there!  I&#8217;d like to get back to my post 2nd baby weight somewhere around 140-145 and I shall be incorporating JJ and Kelly&#8217;s sexy ab workout into my regular workout plan with Bob Harper and the Bigums Gang&#8230;better known as the Biggest Loser Crew. <p>I didn&#8217;t like them when I was a kid and I sure as heck don&#8217;t like them now! Vitamins&#8230;ugh. To make matters worse, they&#8217;ve gone from small fruity Flintstone chewables to gi-normous inch long horse pills. Yeah&#8230;that&#8217;s somewhat of an exaggeration&#8230;somewhat&#8230;but just like you were young and you had to take vitamins to make sure you got all those essential nutrients and vitamins that picky eating may not have provide you; you have to continue this ritual to stay a healthy adult&#8230;it just never ends does it?</p>
<p>Nature Made Liquid Softgels Multi For Her are my vitamins of choice because I don&#8217;t get enough Calcuim or Iron in my diet and it has 23 other key nutrients. This one is perfect for me because it&#8217;s softgel form makes it easy to swallow, even though it is a HUGE pill! I like these because they can be taken with little or no food and still not upset my stomach. They also give a much needed burst of energy in the morning&#8230;which I need being the exact opposite of a morning person.  Consult your doctor or pharmacist&#8230;or maybe even mom and find out which vitamins are best for you!</p>

<p>Soooo&#8230;this is just a FEW of the DVDs that I have basically wasted money on over the past year. There are way more upstairs but I think this proves my point&#8230;that point being, I need to stop buying new workout DVDs just because they are having a sell on them at Target. I don&#8217;t think I&#8217;ve completed one of these workout&#8230;yeah&#8230;no&#8230;not a one. They are all really good workouts&#8230;I guess, lol! They all made me sweat and apparently made me work so hard that I conveniently tucked them at the back of the video shelf. In the coming months, I vow to use and complete each of these&#8230;and as I can say it I can feel my butt becoming sore at the check my mouth just wrote, LOL!</p>
<p>Starting with Biggest Loser, featuring Bob Harper, I will use each DVD for 30 days and give my review in the Workout Review section on the page. The first review will start 1/13/12. It&#8217;ll be like killing two birds with one stone&#8230;the birds being my resolution to stop spending money carelessly and the other to get back in shape! Anyway, I like Bob because he has this uncanny ability to work the crap out of you while keeping that calm pleasant look on his face&#8230;makes me want to punch him in the face each time! Starting tomorrow right up til 2/13/12, I will give Bob 35-55 minutes of my time each day&#8230;let&#8217;s see what happens! Shall we?</p>

<p>By now everybody knows Madama Lottabody does love herself some Jazzercise&#8230;the comradory&#8230;the hip shaking&#8230;the sweat&#8230;.fun, fun, fun&#8230;but right about now I&#8217;m feeling like Nelly and Kelly Rowland&#8230;Dilema.  See I work until 6pm each day&#8230;last class starts at 6:15pm&#8230;which is usually the time I finish closing up the office&#8230;see my issue. I want to join the Gym because it would be cheaper than me spending 12 bucks a pop for the classes I can manage to get to but only if I can get there more than once or twice a month. Usually the problem is joining a gym and not wanting to make time to get there&#8230;my problem is wanting to go to the gym and having no freakin&#8217; time to get there! Why must my gym adventures be marred with obstacles?</p>
